Not as bright as I'd like

I (and we) always take a night light or two with us when we travel or stay in a hotel. He's never in the bathroom in hotels, and standing on the potty in the middle of the night on a pitch-dark night is like begging for a couple of broken toes or shins. This night light caught my attention because of the charging ports and because the light seemed bright enough to allow safe walking without causing night blindness. The charging ports work great and I have no issues with them except that I would prefer two full-size USB ports rather than one full-size and one mic. However, the luminous flux is lower than expected. The warm color is perfect for the night but too boring for a big bathroom. I also need to get the auto function to work. When switching to this mode, the night light does not turn on in total darkness, while driving or in combination. I don't mind having lights on all the time, and since we have pets it's a lot better than a light that's constantly on when one of the furry overloads comes along and disables the motion sensor. It seems like this would be the best night lighting option for a child's room as it's dark enough not to disturb their sleep but should keep monsters away. It can also work better in a small bathroom. I would appreciate a few more lumens and a working automatic mode.
