Were tested one day after installation. The substation exploded, the electricity was cut off for 8 hours. They never dimmed or faded. With such a small battery, I was sure they would last 90 minutes at best. The red light in the test button is very bright. If installed in a bedroom, you may need to cover it with tape. Very happy with it. The tricky part was knocking out the cable routing holes. This plastic is hard. A Dremmel tool can help.
