Such little things as the dimensions of such a plug often come "close" in Chinese production, it seems. The threaded shank of the connector is about a tenth of an inch or so too long. The thread is fully tightened, but the edge of the barrel meeting the SO-239 it's screwed onto stops the rotation, not the base of the inside of the adapter as it should. So the free play within the adapter itself is such that a slight tug on the cable (as is often the case with a few feet of cable dangling from a socket on the edge of a table when testing antennas) will cause the BNC part to fail leads . allowed to rotate, suggesting that the contact installed in the adapter may be unreliable and cause fluctuating SWR and meter performance readings during the test. For a permanent install, yes no, I wouldn't even recommend this if it had never moved. The contact is WAY too unreliable.
