Update: Taking a few stars off because while the strap is nice and strong, the leather loops that connect it to the case are twice as thin and are already showing signs of breaking just a few months of regular use. You can try reinforcing with stitching and see how it goes. I love sorting out years of refu from my leather bags. Looks very good for the price, I think it's good. I can cut off the buckle and attach another magnet to make it less of a hassle to open and close.
