Sketches on hard disk housings at best

I can confirm Mr. McGraw's LED problems in another test (see video). I can also attest to the lack of technical knowledge of Supermicro support and their unwillingness to take on much of the responsibility when there is no other possible perspective. They said that the LEDs are only activated by the controller/HBA and that the manufacturer should be contacted and if everything is ok close the case. until I disabled the controller and voila, same problem. I've also used every controller, SAS cable and configuration available to me with the same results. They stay powered on even when there's no drive in the bay! Note: The contrast between Atto support and Supermicro support was stunning. I can't remember the last time I had such an informative tech support exchange - the guy spent 2 hours on the phone with me to troubleshoot this issue and had a lab full of equipment available to reproduce the issue , although he tried to reproduce the problem We had already installed that it's not Atto's fault! Sure, their stuff can be pricey, but as they say, you get what you pay for. When it comes to a fan, I'd rather pay the premium knowing I can count on the seller. even in home/non-production environments. I've always loved the build quality of Supermicro's materials, but this device in particular, and Supermicro's support in general, got past my headache. doesn't seem to show the same behavior. Oddly enough, it also has a different arrangement of LEDs and a controller chip. Something unusual seems to be happening on the M28 backplane and they are dodging it. So, Supermicro, tell me again, why isn't this your fault? I'll wait.
