Review on 🍞 Breville BOV650XL Compact Smart Oven: Countertop Electric Toaster Oven in Brushed Stainless Steel by Cody Clark

UPDATE: Almost two years and we use it every day and are as satisfied as the first day it came out. There are some reviews claiming it won't last 6 months or a year and the Breville device we received is fast approaching its second birthday. In fact, with this device, we use our regular oven less and less. I like how this appliance cooks, but I really like how it heats food. While the microwave heats food much faster, it also tends to make some meats rubbery. Not a Breville toaster, it heats food evenly and doesn't "change" it like microwave ovens. This oven is also very good for toasting food such as french fries, bread, etc. Whether it's just reheating my wife's daily raspberry pies, baking cookies or bread, this oven has done it all. Also very good for pizza. We have cooked many dishes in this oven and it has been used at least once a day. Has my two year use changed my rating for this device? No, I still rate it very highly and we are very happy with this toaster. We even bought this toaster as a gift for others and they said they were happy with it. ------------------------------------------------ -- ------------------------------------------------ -- -- ------- ordered a surprise for his wife. Her last toaster recently went to the equipment store in heaven and she mentioned that she needed a different toaster but not the cheap ones sold at local stores. surprise for the woman. Imagine their surprise when it arrived but was immediately followed by disappointment that the shipping box was damaged and this resulted in damage to the oven right down the center of the back and top of the oven. I contacted Revain straight away and they sent a replacement which we received within days. I sent the damaged oven back the same day I received it. The return process couldn't be simpler. My wife is very happy with the consistency of this oven and the ease of use. It's also a very nice device. We recently went to Best Buy and they had the same oven for $90 more than I paid Revain. Notice the plug on the cord, another sign that Breville cares about how its product is actually used. Impressive. The oven is well made, an attractive unit that looks, feels and performs like a quality unit. We have been using it for about a month now and my wife uses it instead of a large oven for many dishes. This is one of those purchases that I was looking forward to and now I'm glad I spent the money. It's a cut above the Black and Decker or any other similar budget toaster. The size is also perfect for leaving on the counter in the corner where my wife wanted to keep it. If I could I would give this place 6 stars. Well, in a way I can ******.
