I bought this for my cat because she is obsessed with using boxes as scratching posts. Great for her, but not for me. Very difficult to store things. But she's obsessed with it ever since I saved her. She sleeps in or on them and also uses them as a kind of playpen. When I saw that they were made of the same material I thought this would be a great way to get them to stop or at least reduce their unwanted behavior. I spent time with her and tried to teach her how to use it. But she wouldn't have it. Tried with and without catnip. She just waved her notepad to shake off the hickey. After reading a few articles online and watching a few videos that helped me switch to a new notebook, I thought there might be a chance. Had not. She wouldn't even lay on him. This is very surprising because I can't bring a bag into the house without it trying to lay down on it or find its way in. I threw it in the trash after a few weeks. I thought maybe she doesn't like the size so I bought a bigger one, big enough for her to sit or sleep in, wavy in shape but with the exact same issues. A few weeks later he was kicked out too. I'm going to try a traditional pad or bar and see if I have any luck with either of those. For the price, I wouldn't even recommend this just in case it might work for your cat. Use the money to invest in a different type of product.
