I measured my replacement that I needed and it fit perfectly in every way as it was slightly wider, snug but fitted perfectly flush! I use this as a replacement for my perched cat scratching post. This one definitely seems more durable than the previous spares we got from the store! I will be replacing it with this one from now on! (photo shows some use) Kitty loved using it!
