I am 5'6" and 205 lbs. I wear trousers in sizes 16 to 18 (XL) and shirts 2xl. I bought the 3XL and I can say that the fabric is super soft and flowy. He touches the ground. And I can say the 3XL is a bit big, but I agree. Next time I will order 2XL. But definitely worth the price.
