Received as a gift for a teacher. Beautiful, in a practical packaging and at an affordable price. Not too expensive that I would find it inappropriate as a teacher gift, but beautiful enough to show the teacher some appreciation. Each item was securely packed in a cardboard box. The cup itself is not that big, suitable for coffee. The stand is actually ceramic, with a wood grain pattern and covered with a thin layer of cork material on the underside. The small piece of tinted glass on the spoon in my set is blue, not yellow like the product image. I actually like this color better as it goes well with the blue enamel on the flowers. This is an average price range for 3 different mugs that I ordered as a gift for a teacher. I really like the packaging of this model, it's easy for a child to carry around and feels sturdy enough to withstand a small drop during transit. The outer box is rigid and easier to pack. I'm happy with that.
