20+ лет назад я установил циркуляционный насос под раковиной, чтобы не тратить воду (или столько же времени) в ожидании горячей вода, чтобы добраться до моей раковины in the bathroom. I followed the directions to install it but this created an opportunity for the cold water to flow back to the hot water. I noticed the problem after replacing the water heater. I got 105 degree water from hot water faucets throughout the house, not the 120 degree water that the new water heater gave. This check valve solved the problem.
