I bought them for a trip to Mexico, where we explored many waterfalls. These shoes were the only ones that didn't slip on most of the rocks (of course some rocks were very slippery). My feet were comfortable all the time and never got hit by small rocks. Then we drove into a town with rough cobblestone streets and very sloping hills. My feet were still so comfortable! The shoes dried completely overnight or within 10 minutes under a hair dryer. They were definitely put to the test day in and day out for a week. I am also getting another pair to wear at home.
