If you hate dead cordless phones (and I do!), cell phone disconnects or a bad connection on one of them (and I love it!), and you love your landline phone (and I love - you'll get it from rip my cold, dead fingers), then this is the phone for you. I needed a new wall phone because my trusty Western Electric finally died after 45 years (they don't make it anymore) so I started looking for a replacement. Ordered this because unfortunately Western Electric and AT&T no longer make wall phones. I'm impressed with this phone. Works great, there's a volume control on the phone - great when someone is calling you on a cell phone that has a lousy connection and they sound far away; Just turn up the volume on your phone and you're done. Having bought phone system phones for over 20 years in the telecom business, this phone deserves a look.
