If you want softness, check out Ruvanti flannel bed linen!

I don't sleep well anyway, so the lack of soft sheets just makes it difficult for me to sleep soundly. My skin may be sensitive to the texture of fabrics. So my two requirements for sheets are 100% cotton and very soft. That means high-thread cotton and often Egyptian cotton for my light sheets and very sophisticated flannel sheets. The only thing I'm picky about when it comes to my linens is my pillow, and now I try to stock up on that when I find a pillow that suits me. Because when I need a new one, the one that suits me seems to be unavailable. I think I'll have to do the same with the flannel sheets and buy 2 more sets - which will probably mean me for life! After years of not buying new flannel sheets, my 2 sets were thin and needed replacing before I slipped my foot through the narrow gap and slid into bed. I tend to stick with what I find effective until they are very thin. My sister has bought Laura Ashley flannel sheets a few times over the past few years and she loves them. I could also feel her Laura Ashley sheets for softness and agreed they were quite soft. The moment my bedroom was blue and yellow, I bought a set of Le Fleur Cottage Blue Laura Ashley queen size bed linens. The print is beautiful but that's about the only positive thing I can say about them other than they keep me going. Warmth in cold and/or snowy weather. I sleep pretty cool in my room, preferably 55-60 degrees. I need to be warm but not hot and these sheets are perfect for that purpose. They are not as thick as the sheets my sister has bought in the past. They were quite soft and I expected them to get softer after washing. I washed them before use and I washed them 3 times in total and used them twice for about 2 weeks each time they were in bed. "Pilling" was also noticeable the first time you used it, more on the fitted sheet than on the bed sheet. I'll keep using them and maybe they'll soften up with time and more washes, but I'm not very optimistic. I'll probably change the sheets sooner if I use them simply because I LOVE the other brand I bought at the same time. Time. I've washed them twice already and absolutely LOVE them. They're also thicker, plus there's no sign of "pilling" with the Ruvanti plate in that area. I expect them to last longer as they are thicker. They are so soft it's heavenly! If softness is important, I would recommend looking at Ruvanti flannel bedding instead.
