My favorite set of flannel sheets is the Laura Ashley set which was launched about 8 years ago, I still use and love it. Foolishly thinking that the new sheets would be the same quality as the old ones, I bought this set. They curled up in clumps within the first 3 uses and never softened. I'm tempted to just throw them away. Sometimes beautiful is not enough.

After receiving my set, running it through the washing machine and making my bed, it fits perfectly. Slept 2 nights and found a small hole then looked at the sheets and found 2 more holes. It should definitely be seconds. So disappointed, have bought this brand many times but usually in store. I've patched every hole, but I won't waste any more money on this brand. Shame on your company! You should be told you are buying seconds!

I ordered these sheets because they are prewashed. However, the fabric is too thin. They claim to be lightweight, but they are so thin that they can hardly be called flannel. My mattress is 18 inches thick. They stay on the mattress but the fabric sticks up so much on the sides, out of the corners that it looks very cheap and tasteless. These are the only flannel sheets that will stay on my mattress so I will keep them while I continue to search for quality sheets. I do not recommend.

I love flannel sheets; but not all flannel is created equal. I only use flannel sheets. warm in winter; cool in summer. I don't sleep well anyway, so the lack of soft sheets just makes it difficult for me to sleep soundly. My skin may be sensitive to the texture of fabrics. So my two requirements for sheets are 100% cotton and very soft. That means high-thread cotton and often Egyptian cotton for my light sheets and very sophisticated flannel sheets.
