It's a really nice smell, not too overpowering (I'm usually very sensitive to smells). I wet my hands and then break off smaller pieces to break and use over time; with this method, one cube is just right for use on the whole body. It's also great because if you have rough areas that need more exfoliation than others, you can use the entire cube to target those areas before blending it into the rest of the body for an overall lighter exfoliation. This has become a new favorite for me.
