I couldn't figure out the strap and then started to feel better if I just wore flats

I bought these shoes for wedding dance lessons. The instructor suggested heeled dance shoes to get use to dancing in them and under my dress. Anyways, I actually ended up never wearing them. I couldn't figure out the strap and then started to feel better if I just wore flats.The shoes felt a bit flimsy. so I honestly didn't feel very safe in them dancing. I went to process the return, but the label got lost in our move, and then with all the wedding stress I forgot to mail them (totally my fault). Now, it is too late. I just wish I could refund these, even if just for an amazon credit or resale.
