First, the phone holder holds the phone very securely, so I'm not worried at all about it falling. Putting the phone in the holder is a bit more difficult than I would like. I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and have to turn around a bit to fit my phone in the four corner mounts. Once it's in place, you'll need to press the phone down to press the button in the center of the cradle. This will loosen the 4 levers and tighten and lock onto the phone. This button sits very low and requires you to actually press the center of the phone screen to activate it. I would have preferred the button to be a bit higher so I can just rest my phone on the corner supports to press the button.
