Pretty easy to wire up my car and the reversing camera didn't find any problems. I wanted to replace my Sony head unit as it requires a camera accessory and head unit back light. So I would have to run two wires in opposite directions. I didn't know this beforehand, so it didn't work. At this point, all I had to do was hook up the rear light to the camera and main unit to get it working. This way I was able to get the rear camera working without running additional wires. Android works automatically, so there is no problem here. I don't care about anything other than Android Auto and a rear camera display, so it's perfect for my use cases.
