Worked flawlessly for several months on my MSI B350M Mortar motherboard with two WD Blue M.2 Sata drives. Didn't even need an extra power cord. * Doesn't work on my new MSI B550M Mortar motherboard no matter what configuration I tried. Power on/off, M.2 in/out via motherboard slots, card in/out, card in any PCIE 16x slot. I suspect there was some sort of handshake issue between the device's BIOS and the motherboard, but I couldn't fix it. I can't even try to flash a new BIOS on this device because I can't POST it into the system. Is MSI to blame? star tech? My? No idea, hence four stars.
