I bought them and put them on either side of the bed. The overhead lights in my bedroom were too bright and I needed something to give my bedroom a cozier feel. It was the perfect solution. It only took me a few minutes to install them myself and I installed cord holders to hide the cords on the wall (and leave room for a switch). I would give this 5 stars if the on/off switch was built into their base and not attached to the cord, which would make it much easier to hide the cords entirely to make them feel more integrated into the room. come with bulbs that emit a soft, warm glow and I found it was much easier for me to turn them on by setting two by my bed while getting ready for bed than harsh overhead lighting. I also set them up with smart plugs so I can control them with my phone or with Alexa on my Echo. I created them as a group with a routine so all I have to do is say "Alexa goodnight" and both lights go out and Alexa says goodnight to me.
