If using USB make it short, short

This is the second photo frame I have bought as a gift. The first was Nixplay and it will ruin everything else for you. But it also costs a hell of a lot, more than double. (It wasn't the case before.) Thought I'd give it a try as it's a lot cheaper and seems to fit the bill. This is a good photo frame, but not great. Nixplay's frame felt smooth, bright, crisp, and solid. Smearing with this device is a bit annoying. It doesn't look like you can just remove them with a clean cloth. See my photo as an example. I think it's like the difference between a quality tablet and a cheap one. Along with this frame I also bought a USB and uploaded my photos to it. The good news is that the process was easy. I simply uploaded the images onto a USB stick and pasted them into the frame. If I had to do it again I would use the short USB. A full-size USB stick is visible from the outside of the bezel. (Again, see my photo.) A few confessions. This is intended as a photo frame only. I haven't tried the video and music functions or the remote control. (I let my girlfriend unwrap as much as possible when she gets it.) I didn't use a kickstand or motion-sensing feature. Pictures. This attitude was of course immediately changed. I didn't see a toggle for show/hide, which would be my preference. i will survive this You can set the photo switching time (and I like the default setting of three seconds). The good news is that once you set it, it will remember it when you turn it off or unplug it. Will I spend double the money to get a quality one? Maybe for yourself. But for a gift, this device is quite suitable.
