The first pair I got as a gift, after measuring the foot turned out to be a size 8. I received them, they were better than I could have ever expected and my foot slipped into them so well. BUT. My foot continued to slide forward about an inch. I tried to look through but my heel rests on the edge where the heel of the boot begins. I felt my leg give out and I realized I couldn't walk in it for an hour, let alone a whole day. So I measured again and 7 1/2 (7.5) seemed like the perfect spot. 8s returned, 7.5 ordered. It arrived today with a note that the original packaging was damaged and the item had been repackaged. No information. No slip. No details or stickers indicating the size or even the manufacturer of the shoes, no branding. I put them on and too small. My toes barely fit and my heel is pinched. I measured the foot and the boot. They sent me 6.5 or 7. Not 7.5. I checked their sizing chart and my foot 3 times before I was sure I wanted to send them back a second time. I'm not even sure it's worth trying the right size a third time.
