This shirt is adorable! I have this shirt and a matching dress for my kids. My son is almost 6 years old and weighs about 50 pounds, 45 inches and sometimes comes in a size 5-6. I chose a size 6 because someone mentioned he was a little small. This shirt is perfect for him! So yes, if your child is in between sizes I would go up a size. It feels great and looks great. I can't wait for them to wear the same outfits for Thanksgiving!
