Review on πŸ’„ Danielle 12X Magnification Two-Sided Makeup Mirror, Soft Touch - Midnight Matte by Brent Rosecrans

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Want to see what you REALLY look like?

I have an ordinary make-up mirror with a light, but for eye make-up I use a small hand-held mirror with a stand. Maybe I'm getting blinder, but the little mirror just doesn't work for me. It's difficult to do eyeliner, even with magnification. I was looking for a replacement that didn't cost an arm or a leg and this one seemed perfect. And wow. just wow. I really SEE without glasses! In fact, I can do a winged liner faster and with fewer mistakes, such a wonderful increase. Oh, and you know how you thought your exfoliation would work and get rid of all those little blackheads? When you look at yourself in this mirror, your nose and chin will look like a minefield! Sounds like bad news, but it's not. In fact, you can see and get rid of these little bugs before they get bigger, more visible, and begin to stretch your pores. Needless to say, this mirror is great for plucking eyebrows. I'm a relatively hairless woman, but I didn't even realize how much peach fuzz I had until I looked at myself in that mirror. And the mirror is of good quality. My current lousy mirror is light. This in the sense that it is not burdensomely heavy. But it has a weight that indicates quality. Even turning the mirror from normal to magnified, it has a sense of solidity and substance. Mirrors are high quality and not cheap, so there is no distortion. The stand itself is rubberized, and if you like the feel and texture (I do) you'll love it. It feels good in the hand and looks great on your dressing table. I don't recommend this mirror if you want to see what you REALLY look like (trust me you'll jump first!)
