I used to buy a large sponge of this brand at a hardware store so I wanted another one. This one was much smaller. The ink logo applied to the sponge had a strong chemical odor that was unbearable. The whole sponge was soaked with that disgusting chemical smell. I take it outside to air out in the sun. This is not for indoor use, not for anything that will come in contact with food, skin, utensils, or pets. This is for washing things like a car or machine while wearing gloves. It has been claimed to be gigantic and super powerful. It's a manageable size but only 1/3 the size of giant sponges and I used it to wipe down an air conditioner window unit. I won't return it for the cheap price. Be sure to open the package in a well-ventilated area, and then allow sufficient time for airing.
