Misconnected

The fan did not come with wall switches as advertised. Support sent them to me but it wasn't easy to fix them. We installed it ourselves by replacing an old ceiling fan. The wires don't match and the wall switches still don't work. We still have to use remote controls (I hope we never lose remote controls!). Husband is very handy but even that kicked his ass and now we have to hire an electrician for something that should be easy to change. i love fans That's what we were looking for in updates. I just want them to be easy to swap out.
