This broom and dustpan have a terrible handle. You screw together several pieces of a handle about 16 inches long to create a complete handle. I'm sure it looked fine on the engineer's computer screen, but it doesn't work. If you tighten them with enough torque to make the handles strong, you'll strip the threads. Each section is only about 1/2 inch in diameter, so they're too small for a functional grip. You can't hold on to a 1/2 inch broomstick. It just spins in your hand. Both the dustpan and broom are decent quality, but you end up spending another $7 each at Home Depot to buy a big enough little wooden handle.
