This is the best iron I have ever owned. The first thing I noticed was the very long cord so no more wrestling with it to get the iron to reach the full length of the ironing board. When you turn the iron on, the ready light comes on for a minute or two, so you no longer have to wait for it to heat up. It has a function to select the type of fabric you want to iron and you can choose whether you want steam or no steam. If you choose the steam function, it will continue to emit the perfect amount of steam while ironing and will stop steaming as soon as you remove it from the board. There's also a button for extra bursts of steam if you have really stubborn wrinkles. In addition to all of the above features, there is also a continuous steam function that works both vertically and horizontally for up to 10 minutes if you prefer to steam your clothes rather than iron them. Before I bought this iron, I had to spray water on my clothes before ironing. Now I'm rid of the spray bottle, I iron the clothes twice as fast and they look like they just got them from the dry cleaners. I love this iron and instead of being afraid of this task, I now really enjoy ironing clothes.
