Love this little set

I have worked with some fairly expensive and inexpensive sets in the past and this little set was surprisingly good value for money. The tripods are a bit small, but they are solid. I would recommend bringing a good set of sandbags so you don't tip anything too easily. The stands are also very short, so if you need high lighting, you will need to buy other stands. Pencils. Basically, it's of little use unless you need to control your app and camera from a remote location (like you're interrogating a dangerous hitman strapped to a chair 100ft away). The lamps themselves are very versatile and can be fitted with gels and diffusers if desired. With this kit, it's easy to set up a 3-light interview for one person or product, or for two people standing side by side, but it's not enough when two people face each other. However, at this price you can get two sets. I don't care about logos everywhere but love the velvet pouch and tote bag. The packaging feels very comfortable. The power cords are short. When the short tripods are fully extended, the power supplies do not reach the ground. If you're using power cords, I recommend getting a Velcro cable tie system to secure the power supplies to the light stands. I also recommend using longer cords to plug the boxes into an extension cord or outlet. This kit comes without batteries. I would definitely recommend some batteries as it's not exactly "portable" without batteries. You need two per lamp. The lights are fairly bright, but not bright enough to outshine the sun. They add some fill light to a sunlit person. They will overwhelm overhead fluorescent lights pretty well.
