I bought these to see how they would perform against my existing set of large softbox fluorescent bulbs. What I don't like about softboxes is how big and bulky they are, and every once in a while the lightbulb breaks and I have to replace it. that they are the worst choice and do nothing better than installing a fluorescent softbox (except they take up less space). Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, easy to set up, bright and adjustable. Incandescent lamps and daylight are very fast. The lamps do not get very hot after several hours of use. I have worked with some fairly expensive and inexpensive sets in the past and this little set was surprisingly good value for money. The tripods are a bit small, but they are solid. I would recommend bringing a good set of sandbags so you don't tip anything too easily. The stands are also very short, so if you need high lighting, you will need to buy other stands. Pencils.
