Great for small sets, product lighting and streaming studios

I've uploaded images showing the light in just three of the many color temperatures available, as well as some shots of the light with the diffuser and bezels included. The lamp was about a meter from the curtain. This kit included three stands, curtains, diffusers, stands and LED panels, as well as mounting hardware and tools. Packaged for transport to shooting. Inside are Velcro dividers for three panels and all of the above accessories. The case is good enough to take with you in your private car, but if you're serious about hands-free work, you'll want to put it in a suitable hard case for added protection on professional film sets. Luminaires are made of thick aluminum. The brackets that hold the fasteners are very thick and strong. You can mount the light so that the yoke is horizontal, allowing the light to tilt 180 degrees vertically when the diffuser and barn doors are in place. Otherwise, you can mount the yoke vertically on a stand without a diffuser or louvered doors. It is important to note that the gap between the diffuser and the panel lets in a lot of light from the fixture. So if your camera gets light pollution from the light fixture, you need to mark that light by adding a DIY baffle plate around the light fixture to fill in the gap. Everything else should be fine. The beam angle without diffusers is between 30 and 40 degrees. In diffusion it is much broader, around 60 degrees for the brightest central area of the beam, and gradually disappears from the center. Shorter pens offer a brighter light source with a slightly narrower beam angle, while longer pens offer a slightly wider spread with a dimmer but wider beam angle. I recommend you buy a small, pocket-sized tackle. At least 1 drawer or toolbox to store all pin stands for easy setup upon arrival at the shoot. By the way, there are a couple of silver turned thumbscrews that attach the diffuser to the stand. There are thumb screws with slightly longer studs that are used to secure the barn door over the diffuser, so keep that in mind when sorting your gear. What I love about these lights: Being blind, I appreciate the large, bright LED digital display that shows intensity and color settings. The knobs feel smooth when turning and the transition between colors is very smooth. The robust yet compact design is a plus. I also appreciated the inclusion of diffusers and barn doors. either a diffuser or barn doors. The battery powered option is a big plus! I just wish it included batteries but that would add to the cost. What I don't like: I noticed that all three electrical nets had bent legs that had to be straightened with pliers. Not a big deal, but that could have been avoided by protecting the transport and packaging network. The stands are more for lighting that you could use as a lighting setup for desktop products. The legs are very short, so I don't recommend using them at full height without significant weight at the base, e.g. B. with a sandbag or weights. The tripod shaft is slightly wavy when fully extended. I didn't like how long it took to attach and remove the diffusers and boom doors. Three fasteners means 12 per thumbscrew, and a pin must be inserted and then removed before you can pack the mechanism. It's overtime on the set. It would be nice if the diffusers and barn doors were designed with quick release functions in mind. But since they're in the studio all the time, it's not that big of a problem. The only thing I don't like is the fact that all the LEDs are hanging to dry. that is, you can touch them. This means that if you carry a high level of static electricity and touch bare LEDs on a cold, dry day after installation, you could damage them with an ESD (electrostatic discharge) discharge. It would be nice if there was an ESD-protected glass or plastic pane in front of these LEDs. I doubt they will survive rain or wet environments. It would also be nice if the cable from the lamp to the power supply were significantly longer. , or if there was a way to attach the PSU to the stand so it doesn't pull on the power connector that goes into the panel. The panels are NOT 10 inches wide. They are 8 and 1/4 inches wide. It's a diffuser and yoke with 10 inch wide tension knobs, but that's not a problem for me. It would be nice if the panel was actually 10 inches. Final Thoughts: Overall I think these lights are great for small film sets, product lighting and live streaming. to operate the device with batteries.
