I was very happy with this mouse at first when I got it (I bought 3 of these for different computers) - the shape is good, the button placement is useful and they can be adjusted. I had no trouble getting the USB stick to work and I had no trouble unplugging it. The mice have functioned well for about 3 months. Then they all began to break after about the same amount of use - the left button sometimes registers no presses, sometimes registers multiple presses. Sometimes the mouse doesn't recognize that it's being moved, and sometimes the middle wheel doesn't register a rotation. The left button issues became serious a few weeks later, to the point where the mouse almost never behaved as expected. At $20, that's extremely expensive plastic junk. I use my computer at least 9 hours a day for various purposes, so ease of use and reliability are my top considerations when buying a mouse. This model got high marks for usability (its shape prompted me to buy it - it's almost impossible to buy a mouse shaped like the Intellimouse Explorer these days). I would be willing to pay a slightly higher price for a quality mouse, but there doesn't seem to be one. This is definitely junk - buy it if you only need a mouse for a short time.
