TERRIBLE support for Logitech products!

Ordered and delivered last week. When setting up a mouse in Windows 10, I received a message that the advanced hardware (scroll wheel tilt and side buttons) on the mouse requires Logitech Options software to be enabled. I followed the link and downloaded the software (zip file). I extracted all the files and looked for the setup file - NOT there. Went to the Logitech website and asked for help (only email contact allowed). Grilling! Grilling! Grilling! I have a mouse with basic functions…

Pros
  • Note. With a wireless mouse, the USB receiver comes in or with the mouse.
Cons
  • Some defects

Beautiful shape, easy to use, fails after 3 months

I was very happy with this mouse at first when I got it (I bought 3 of these for different computers) - the shape is good, the button placement is useful and they can be adjusted. I had no trouble getting the USB stick to work and I had no trouble unplugging it. The mice have functioned well for about 3 months. Then they all began to break after about the same amount of use - the left button sometimes registers no presses, sometimes registers multiple presses. Sometimes the mouse doesn't…

Pros
  • Programmable Controls: Customize the buttons to do exactly what you want, like switch apps, open browser windows, or switch to full screen mode while watching from videos
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Updated M510 Mouse

This overview is intended for regular M510 users. Anyone who has owned this mouse should know that Logitech changed the design a bit. Along with their new logo, the new "2nd Edition" M510 (a missed opportunity by not calling it M510S or something) now also features a "laser-ready" optical sensor, as opposed to the old "true laser" sensor. After an intensive search for information, Internet researchers in several forums confirmed a few facts on the front page. First, an optical sensor isn't…

Pros
  • Ease of use with forward/back buttons, side scrolling and zooming to get more done and faster (requires free Logitech Options software). Wireless Technology: 2.4 GHz Advanced Wireless (combination supported)
Cons
  • Very Expensive

That's a good mouse. Buy it.

I have bought several of these mice over the last 5 years and will continue to buy this. It's a good mouse with a long battery life and an on/off button, but it loses points because it breaks after 9 months of daily use. Size: 4 stars The mouse is slightly longer than most, but smaller than many "ergonomic" mice. It fits comfortably in my large hands, which many little mice don't have. My wife has small hands and is comfortable with them. I have several small children and they don't have a…

Pros
  • 3 year limited hardware warranty
Cons
  • Without automatic controls
