I was looking for a carrier for my new puppy to take for a walk when not on a leash. I looked through a few and found this one. The price is high for something I can't use for a long time. He is strong and sweet. The only issue I had from the start was the cord you pull to tighten around the pet's neck to keep it in and snug. It was terribly difficult for me to stuff it in my pocket because of the rope getting in the way. I almost dropped it today because my feet are flying around trying to get them through the drawstring hole. My solution today was to detach the thread from the clasp, which allows you to tighten the thread, untie the knot, and then insert each of the two ends of the thread into the wooden beads I had. I wrapped each piece of tape tightly so I could thread it through the hole in the bead. After that, throw the ribbon away and then tie a nice knot at each one. I had the perfect beads that are larger than the thread hole so it can't be pulled through. It's much more secure and I can just loosely tie the two ends if I want to tighten the hole. At the moment I only use the bag to keep my pup safe and steady on my lap while I work at my desk. There are no hikes yet.
