Review on 🛵 Honda ATV Big Red ATC200 Carburetor Replacement: Aniro Moto Carb - Ideal for Models ATC200E, ATC200ES, ATC200S (1984-1986) by Fernando Beck

I originally bought a similar replacement carburetor for the 'Big Red' off Ebay for about $20. Price. The Ebay carburetor didn't work at all but looked like an OEM carburetor. After cleaning and restoring the original carburetor we were unable to get the trike to run properly. I found this Aniro Moto carburetor and decided to ask another $20. gambling. After reading the reviews I was sure we would ride the trike again. In fact, the "Big Red” burst into life after a few minutes of carburetor changes with no carburetor adjustments! Sure, it wasn't perfect, but it idled and revved perfectly. Fine tuning is still needed as we sometimes get flat spots. Move the needle lock holder up (thinner) or down (bolder) for finer adjustment. There are a total of (5) five settings slots. I even moved the needle from the center (slot #3) to slots #2 and #4 which made performance worse, so I moved it back to position #3. It starts immediately and freezes, which is good so far. At least we're on the road again! Be sure to remove the original rubber plug and adjusting thread on the throttle cable that connects to the top cap of the carburetor and use the rubber plug that came with the kit, otherwise the idle will be higher than normal. Check the sensitivity of the throttle stick, which should sag a little at first. The Ebay carburetor looked very similar to the Aniro carburetor and even shared some of the same markings/numbers on similar parts. However, the main needle was different in comparison. The aniro needle turned out to be a bit thinner than the ebay carburetor. (See image.) I recommend ordering from Revain rather than Ebay as Revain does not charge return postage like Ebay does. Shouldn't have sent the carburetor back to Ebay. You gained something and lost something. This carb worked for us and hopefully will work for you.
