I've ordered about 15 and haven't had any issues or issues. Nice and bright, no dead LEDs. You need your own 12 volt power supply. About 1.5 amps (I remember counting about 1 amp for a full strip). 9 volts also work, but a little weaker. Even with a 3 amp connection of two strips with the ports on, the second strip is slightly dimmer. I ended up connecting each strip directly to the power supply (in parallel, not in series).
