This is a set of 48 double-sided puzzles--each side has two pieces:Birthday cake/bananascheese/grapeslemon/butterdoughnuts/applemilk/peachbread/dragonfruithoney/pearchocolate/orangecupcake/cherryjar of candy/watermelonspaghetti/guava(?)ice cream/kiwieggs/tomatosteak/onionbroccoli/cookiesfish/peppershamburger/carrotsfrench fries/potatopizza/coconutturkey/peaspopcorn/cornsausages/pumpkinstrawberrysandwichpineapple/yogurtThese 2 piece puzzles when complete measure just over 4 inches long x 3 1/2 wide. About 3/32 inches thick so they are sturdy not flimsy. They also have a slightly laminated feel to them which will be protective, I think.One side of the puzzle has a yellow gingham background while the other has a blue gingham background. The puzzle cuts all appear to be slightly different but to be honest I didn't go through and dismantle them to check.They come in a box but the box is pretty thin and rather than a treasure chest (top just opens) construction, you push the inside flaps of the box into the sides and the front to close. I have a feeling that this will last IF I remove the puzzle pieces and hand them over while retaining the box.In my personal opinion , I would have liked to see more vegetables and fruit and no animal products (some will object to the sweets). Cos that's how we roll in this household.But overall this is a nice set and worth the current price. Especially when you think you in reality get 48 puzzles since these are double sided.
