Description of Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice SUV 235/65 R18 110T winter

Winter studded tire Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic SUV is one of the latest developments of the North American giant, which went on sale recently. This model is designed for crossovers and SUVs operating in the harsh climatic countries of Scandinavia and the northern regions of Russia, as well as other areas where the air temperature drops to thirty degrees in winter. Multicontrol Ice Technology Like the conventional passenger car version, this model has been developed with Multicontrol Ice technology, which has received a number of changes to take into account the greater weight of today''s off...

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

Normal size, if not for the shortcomings, there was a winter and summer of this brand, everything was fine, I was not lucky with this model, I will not recommend it.

Pros
  • Quiet, predictable on the road.
Cons
  • Weak sidewall-hernia. And the curve is a bit initially, the second season is already critically curve-had to be changed.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I used some other wheels that were 17 inches in diameter and this rubber to replace the all-season tires that came on the car from the salon. After that, the automobile looked completely different. The ride ended up being much more pleasant. I have been a customer of Goodyear for many years, and I must say that I have been pleased with their service.

Pros
  • A ride that is comfortable and easy, with adequate acceleration and stopping power. The automobile maintains a steady ride despite the ruts; it does not jerk.
Cons
  • There is a significant amount of side slide; it is not worth it to proceed through the curves because the drift is pretty predictable (despite the car squeals the ABS).

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

Changed it after roadstone, Goodyear is much quieter, of course, but there is not a big walk in the corners, True, the size is a bit out of stock 225/65 r17, pumped up 2.3, I’ll try to pump up 2.5, maybe the buildup will disappear, in general, so far I’m satisfied

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

The car is operated within the Hong Kong Ring Road, but there are also trips to the regions. I am very pleased with the tire, skated 2 winters, now I have changed my shoes for the third season. during the winter I roll 10-15t. km Depreciation 30% for two winters. Car Nissan Qashqai J11 2.0 CVT front wheel drive

Pros
  • Very quiet, good directional stability. It behaves well on asphalt, snow and slush, it also makes its way through deep snowdrifts perfectly. On bare ice, you have to think with your head, after all, this is a friction tire. Balances great!
Cons
  • Only the absence of a side that protects the edge of the disk.

For anyone debating between this model and the Performance, let me just add that the latter is the better option for the snow and ice of European winters. However, many dealers "for some reason" fail to mention this. I've only ever shopped for Bridgestone Blizzak Velcro, so I can't really make any direct comparisons between the different models. When I realized how much money I was spending on this brand, I started looking around for alternatives. The rubber doesn't appear to be any worse than…

Pros
  • Peaceful and inexpensive
Cons
  • It's not worth holding your breath for a miracle on the ice.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

In general, I skated on the set for two years (about forty to fifty thousand), broke the rubber within a week of buying it, got two new wheels, skated on the set for another year, and then bought another one of the same. Perfect for dodge caliber tires measuring 215/60 R17 in size Now I'm seeking for a comparable product for a passenger car with 205/55 or 215/55 r16 tires. Pros: great paddling in the snow, performs well on all types of asphalt, and effectively removes water and porridge. Cons:

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

I now reside south of the city limits, where the winters are mild, the streets are bare asphalt during the day, and the roads near my home are rarely swept. Since the spikes make more of a racket and cause less forward momentum on asphalt, I opted for the quieter and more efficient Velcro instead. The car's wooden wheel-like rattle became audible over bumps in +5 July yokohama. Once I switched to a different pair of shoes, recognizing the car in motion was impossible. No more noise than you'd…

Pros
  • Extremely tenacious on all surfaces except than bare ice. Quiet. This film has superb direction.
Cons
  • failed to disclose

The very first automobile and the selection of tires were made wholly on the basis of testing and testimonials. Because I never leave the city during the winter, I decided to invest in some Velcro after reading several positive reviews of it online. Both the price and the performance in the testing were appealing factors for choosing Goodyear. I took them on August 19, exactly two months after I purchased the automobile. Even though I ran into ice on multiple occasions during the winter, there…

Pros
  • first impression, cost, and standing
Cons
  • No

In 2022–2022, a review will follow one season of operation in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Region. purchased for a Rav-4. The tires must be quiet because the car's sound insulation is subpar. I considered every product on the market, and I ultimately decided between these tires and the Nokian Norman RS2. I was glad I made the decision to spend a bit more money on Goodyear tires. An superb, balanced tire that is quiet, comfy, and appropriate for winter use in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Region.

Pros
  • Really quiet; confidently rakes in the snow; rides well on water and snow porridge; remains soft at -20; is understandable and predictable on the pavement; practically does not scour the glue; has an extended manufacturer's warranty; is made in Germany; has a contemporary-looking sidewall and tread design; reasonable price
Cons
  • Without a doubt, perfect. It slows down significantly on ice, which many find to be problematic for some reason. Buy spikes if you ride on ice frequently. No universal tires exist.

But! I bought a car, but the seller made a mistake and I got an ultra flu performance suv gen-1 instead, so I put a thousand miles on some excellent tires. We were able to complete the move in a single day. So, I'll tell you: even if they have the same tread, they are not the same. The nature of a performance is irrelevant. Due to the excellent performance of the ultra-grip tires, it seemed as if four-wheel drive had been activated on a front-wheel drive vehicle. Due to the snow, the rear axle…

Pros
  • All the benefits of high-quality name-brand rubber, including a silent walk (almost like wearing slippers) and a firm grip on any surface from asphalt to ice to snow.
Cons
  • Couldn't locate it.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

Previous 3 seasons spent on Michelin X-Ice Xi3. The tires are good, but in fresh snow the car is like a cow on ice, because. snow clogged the narrow channels of the tread and the rubber turned into slick. Therefore, I chose a new one with wide channels. And in the current snowfalls, the car goes perfectly: no demolitions, no drifts, just like a glove. And this is in addition to the traditional advantages of Velcro. And in icy conditions, there are no problems either, sometimes you even forget…

Pros
  • Great snowing! Good on ice too. Soft, quiet and on clean pavement it feels like summer: it goes very confidently.
Cons
  • Not found

Good tires for the city. The winter was very snowy - no problems arose. Spikes on ice are more stable, but ice is rare in cities - you can change your driving style and be more accurate. The noise level on the pavement is less than in summer, they row through the snow and porridge and keep the trajectory very worthy. Pros below: Quiet. You have to be careful on the ice - these are not spikes. Consumption, oddly enough, slightly decreased compared to summer. Cons below: On the ice, handling is…

I took Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice SUV tires a year ago, so far I have no regrets. I skated about 15 km, but I do not see any wear. Protectors please, do not clog, I think they will live for a long time. Before that, there were other winter tires, so there is something to compare with. As for driving the car, I didn’t notice any special changes, only on wet pavement it is felt that the tires hold the road better than the old ones. But for me they are noisy, although you can tolerate it. In general,

Pros
  • good grip on wet pavement and snowy roads, treads
Cons
  • make noise

I'm driving this rubber for the sixth season on the second car, everything suits me. I do not regret that I bought this model. In the tire shop they said that it would be enough for at least another season or two. Recently withstood the impact of the front right wheel in the open hatch. I thought either the end of the rubber, or the disk. Checked when reloading, everything is fine.

Pros
  • Holds well on asphalt, rows snow, also holds well on ice
Cons
  • Have not found

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

I hoped for more . But this is not the Bridge WS60. Auto Subaru Outback 2022. Four-wheel drive, respectively. Immediately noticed that the snow and porridge is not about this rubber. Plus, for me, it is not soft enough for winter, more all-weather than winter. Although the noise level is acceptable (for Velcro), it still happens and I want it to be lower (WS60)

Pros
  • Not much to talk about, rubber is neither
Cons
  • Weak in the snow, porridge Weak on ice (because there are no spikes) One wheel pierced a couple of days after installation (subjective flaw)

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like it, thank you for the quality product.

Of course, I am a little surprised by a bunch of rave reviews, but! Let's go in order. Bought for Tuareg in the amount of 255/55/18. First impressions - WOW! Does this happen. Soft, smooth, quiet! And in combination with pneuma - generally fly away! I didn’t have such comfortable summer tires, not like winter ones. But if there are obvious pluses, then let's write about the minuses, because there is no ideal rubber, and few people write about the minuses here. And the main disadvantage is the…

Pros
  • - Soft - Quiet! - Excellent hydroplaning resistance! - very comfortable tire for leisurely driving.
Cons
  • - soft sidewall - don't expect miracles on ice Cons details below.

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

It doesn’t drive in a rut on a duster, it’s normal on snow, on water too, I hope it will last for 5 years, I didn’t have time to catch concrete ice, but observe speed and distance and everyone will be happy) The sidewall easily collapses under weight or if something gets under the wheel, I read on the manufacturer's website that this is the protection of the disc edge in this way.

Pros
  • Brand, price

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

Last winter I had to go to Hong Kong and Hong Kong more than once. I doubted that the UltraGrip Ice SUV would cope, but the tires coped with both ice and loose snow. They keep the road well, the car drives confidently, they are not afraid of rutting. Quiet on dry roads, even at high speeds. Depreciation is average, season 4 I think I will skate them boldly. Goodyear took the first time. but the tires pleased, I will also pick up the x brand in the summer.

Pros
  • quiet, good flotation on loose snow
Cons
  • No

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality did not disappoint.

In a nutshell, this is a tire for those who want to get a much wider range of impressions from driving in winter, from five plus to two minus :) If you want to experience complete delight from the silence in the cabin and driving along more or less cleaned streets, but at the same time you are ready to endure a complete fiasco when driving into an icy yard or serious snow porridge, then this is the rubber for you. I gave her a rating of 4, taking into account the pronounced positive qualities…

Pros
  • The main advantages: soft, low noise level and behavior on any asphalt - dry, wet, with a little snow and rolling, well, except for ice and heavy snow porridge, of course. The ride feels like good summer tires. Excellent hold in the turn, no drift, predictably controlled.
Cons
  • In more pronounced winter conditions, it already behaves clearly worse. Especially bad on ice and icy reel. ABS during braking and traction control during acceleration work much more often and not as efficiently. When driving in serious snowfalls, I also did not feel much enthusiasm. Rowing, of course, somehow, but without much enthusiasm.

I bought it to replace the spikes from ekogama, the first impression was as if I put on soft sneakers after tarpaulin boots. I got high all winter, even in the spring (after changing shoes), summer tires feel less comfortable and noisier. Everything about the clutch is great. I will never buy a studded one again, although there were a lot of different studded tires. As I understand it, the spike is good only on clean ice, this happens once or twice during the winter, I drove carefully and…

Pros
  • Very comfortable tires, quiet soft. Derzhak is excellent on everything!
Cons
  • Unrevealed
