Type of review

I bought Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice SUV tires at the beginning of that winter, now I put them on my car again. So far, in general, positive impressions: they behave well in the rain and on a snowy road, and on dry pavement everything is in order. Naturally, you need to drive carefully on ice, I have driven a couple of times, but they drive normally on the snow itself. When I rolled on dry pavement, I did not notice much noise. Our winters are harsh, so it’s better to take the choice of winter…

Pros
  • perfectly hold the wet and snowy road, do not make noise
Cons
  • slip on hard ice

Rubber of this brand for the first time, there is something to compare. There was Velcro from nokian r2, Yokohama ig 60, kumho wintercraft, hankook i'cept zero. This rubber differs from the above, in my opinion, by the balance of all the important advantages of Velcro without pronounced disadvantages. The cost turned out to be moderate, which makes it a profitable purchase for urban use. I definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Comfort on dry pavement, they ride almost like summer ones without annoying noises and the absence of excessive softness characteristic of Velcro. It rows well in the snow and porridge with water. Predictably, it slides on ice where, in addition to asphalt, there are areas with ice. It is well controlled, without delays and rolls, even in near-zero temperatures. In severe frost, I have not yet had a chance to test rubber on a rough canvas of an icy and / or snowy road.
Cons
  • While drove a little, it is difficult to assess. In the tests of car magazines, an increased braking distance was noted in comparison with all-weather tires of the same brand on dry pavement. But subjectively, without measurements, it is difficult to assess.

in total, over 20 years, I drove ~ 600 thousand, there were a lot of different studs and non-studs, the quality of rubber is constantly improving, this model is a typical example of progress, you can safely take it, but it’s not very good for driving to Europe, Dunlop 3D with a rather low rating on the market was much more collected at high speeds, the behavior in other winter conditions is about the same. Yes, yes, tires with a low rating and tires with a high rating were about equally good…

Pros
  • quiet after pretty quiet dunlop 3d
Cons
  • in turn there is a feeling of softness of the sidewall, turn smoothly!) The softness of rubber affects high speed, unpleasant, but no more

Great tire for your money. In warm weather at speed, it is better to turn corners at low speeds for less abrasion and vehicle stability. Got pros: Great tire for your money. I took 255/60/18 Velcro for Tuareg. Rubber is less noisy than other analogues. Works well in the mud and on a snowy track. It was not possible to test it on heavily snowy areas, since I live in the southern region. Cons below: Have not found. In turns at speed, it floats a little in warm weather (along serpentine). On ice…

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Auto Porsche Macan S. These tires are super comfortable, but not for active driving. Of course, you can pile on, but the hook will not be super and it will be too soft for this. At a speed of 150-160 dry it keeps well, I don’t drive faster in winter. In general, you don’t even want to pile on this rubber, you just go calmly, chill and enjoy the silence and comfort. Very good in dry, wet and snow. On ice, everything is predictable. I've been driving for the third season on it and it will be…

Pros
  • Quiet, soft, excellent rowing in the snow
Cons
  • None at this price

Passed the winter 2022/2022 (Mazda CX-5) - the tires are just super. 3rd Velcro in practice. Before that, the Yokogama GeolandarI/T-S G073 is all ABS braking and the Dunlop Winter Maxx is comfortable, rowing in the snow but doesn't like ice. I am very happy with the tires and recommend them to everyone I know. When switching to summer, my wife asked me to return it and use it all year round)))

Pros
  • Quiet, soft, holds, balancing 50-70 gr.
Cons
  • No

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

I bought 225/55 R18 on Auleder as a replacement for spikes, because I was tired of scratching on asphalt. For 6 seasons of driving, the spikes have worn out and there is no sense from them. For the sake of objectivity, it should be noted that Hankook RW 11 showed its best side. One season out. Silence in the car after the spikes! Particularly pleased with how it holds the track. Not felt at all. Very good in the snow. Under Sobyanin, they stopped removing snow in the yards, but getting into…

Pros
  • Quiet tenacious Superbly holds rutting, even deep Does not float on snowy shurga. Got Germany '17, a set of tires from one batch.
Cons
  • Not found yet.

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Nothing but positive things to say about this tire. As for me, it’s an excellent grip, of course I haven’t tried it on ice, but it behaves very worthy on the road. Excellent grip makes it possible to maneuver on a snowy track as well as in summer on dry pavement. The rubber is soft, the pits are small and the bumps are swallowed with a bang, I did not observe hydroplaning. I brake confidently, I accelerate just as well. In general, after the spikes I thought I would be disappointed, but the…

Pros
  • price, driving pleasure, confidence in maneuvers.
Cons
  • not revealed yet.

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

The first friction clutch on Qashqai, before that I did not believe in this type of rubber. I skated the winter and, for me, even better than many of the spikes that were. Firstly, it’s quiet, and secondly, it almost didn’t lose its grip, and the friction clutch is much more comfortable when early spring begins and there are warm days. It behaves well in corners, it swallows small pits with a bang, there is even disk protection, which is also important for me, since my wife often drives a car.

Pros
  • quiet, good grip in ice and snow, wear-resistant

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

put on a Tuareg in the amount of 265/60 R18. Silent, frictional. Almost matches the selection. It was bought according to the planned operation, that is, do not drive through snowy fields . Producer Luxembourg (5452022578983). Tire weight 15.6 kg. Perfectly balanced (there is no internal weight on all four wheels in the assembly), there are no colored circles on the sides of the rubber. Noise level 69 dB (very low), wet grip - coefficient E (worse than average), fuel efficiency - B. Tread…

Pros
  • on snow, wet roads and frosty asphalt goes well
Cons
  • the coefficient of adhesion with wet roads did not please .

Best price for this product, will buy more!

I have been riding Velcro for the eighth year and I am not going to change to a spike. Before this model was goodyear performance is also normal, but worn out in two and a half winters. I hope this one lasts longer. Then, however, the temperature was often more than +5 (Petersburg). I will change shoes on this model later, and earlier for the summer. B + Velcro is better not to ride for a long time and not to heat, it becomes very soft. This model is up to -30. I put it on a Tiguan.

Pros
  • Holds the road well, does not make noise, looks good. Made in Germany.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet.

Extremely comfortable tires, they ride perfectly in snow and ice. Predictable acceleration, braking, absolutely controlled drifts. Prior to that, I used its full analog for cars (GOODYEAR Ultra Grip Ice 2) on a front-wheel drive car, after changing the car there was no doubt what kind of rubber to buy. Now four-wheel drive, rubber satisfied by 200%. Its pros: Quiet, soft, behave like at home in snow and porridge, there are no miracles when braking on ice Cons below: There is a slight rolliness…

Good product, not disappointed.

If you regularly sprinkle / water the roads with reagents, this option is not a bad one. But you always need to make an adjustment for the speed limit and distance for the quality of the road surface. If the main type of coverage is snow, ice, it is better to opt for spikes. Some pros: Excellent rowing on snow and wet asphalt. The braking distance on these surfaces is predictable. Got cons: Just to clarify, the mileage of rubber 200km. On ice - like skating. The wheelbarrow becomes…
