Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice SUV 235/65 R18 110T winter by Jnis Griis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

I now reside south of the city limits, where the winters are mild, the streets are bare asphalt during the day, and the roads near my home are rarely swept. Since the spikes make more of a racket and cause less forward momentum on asphalt, I opted for the quieter and more efficient Velcro instead. The car's wooden wheel-like rattle became audible over bumps in +5 July yokohama. Once I switched to a different pair of shoes, recognizing the car in motion was impossible. No more noise than you'd get with summer tires, and no noise at all from spikes. I have been able to ride on bare ice, make snow and sand porridge, and travel great distances in the past few months. These tires are designed to handle mild, new snow, rolled snowy roads, and asphalt. Powerful acceleration and stopping ability. Even in wet slush and mud, speeds of up to 60 km/h are easily handled. After 14 years of utilizing spikes in the winter, the remarkable silence on dry pavement, like in the summer, is noticeable. I averaged between 140–150 km/h (150–93 mi/h) while cruising along the highway in complete ease and security. I had to slow down once on bare ice, which is obviously an issue despite the little amount of time lost. You can't expect miracles on smooth ice without spikes; you just need to be more cautious, give yourself more space, and go at a slower speed. Corners are driven with complete confidence and clarity because to the road's superb maintenance.

Pros
