For anyone debating between this model and the Performance, let me just add that the latter is the better option for the snow and ice of European winters. However, many dealers "for some reason" fail to mention this. I've only ever shopped for Bridgestone Blizzak Velcro, so I can't really make any direct comparisons between the different models. When I realized how much money I was spending on this brand, I started looking around for alternatives. The rubber doesn't appear to be any worse than Bridgestone. Liked how it decelerated on both packed and loose snow. Behaves precisely on the pavement, doesn't "float," and operates in near silence. The miracle did not occur on the ice because it was too slippery. The evaluation will continue because it did not snow this year.
