I was hesitant to buy this at first as a lot of people complained about the "tail" left after adjusting the length, but I pulled the trigger anyway and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if people got fakes (I bought from a "Zappos" seller, definitely a real deal) or if the company updated their design, but there's literally no "tail" or anything that hangs over it that matters. Craftsmanship at the highest level. It's really shocking how durable this little bag seems to be. I bought this for my girlfriend as she refuses to carry the traditional "purse" but complains when she loses things or doesn't have enough pockets. She just loves this little bag and can fit a shocking amount of stuff in it. As of this writing, she managed to bring with her: 1) a pad of Field Notes, 2) four or five pens <Parker Jotter, if size is an issue> 3) two coaster-sized lip balms 4) an eyeglass repair kit 5) a small makeshift first aid kit <advil, tums, patches of various sizes, hand sanitizer>6) spare lightning cord7) wireless headphones8) mini power bank <maker unknown but small>9) eyeliner and sharpener10) Gerber Air Ranger Pocket knife11) The zipper back holds debit cards, driver's license, cash. Pretty good catch for such a small bag. Overall she loves it and I'm so impressed with it that I'm planning on getting a bigger bag. Hope this review helps!
