These pens have proven themselves excellent! I haven't had any leaks or other issues with them. All the colors were vibrant and the coverage was great. The gold was a shiny, shimmery metallic, just what I was hoping for. I haven't used silver or black, but I think these two are just as satisfying as the others. I used them to paint ceramic mugs and they looked great in the oven. I accidentally left a batch in the oven too long and only the orange took a toll. They all darkened a bit, but the bright orange turned to burnt sienna. My only complaint was that they weren't consistent even after baking (350 degrees for 30 minutes). To be honest, nowhere in the description did it say they would be, so I can't really fault them for that. It's a shame because that was the only reason I bought these pens. I could have used the grips I already had if I knew they wouldn't be permanent anyway. I just assumed they would since every article I read online said that oil paint sticks would be permanent if baked. Definitely deducting a star simply because after all this work I was very disappointed. If they really claimed to be consistent after baking I would give them 1 star! But they didn't.
