Our dryer got so hot that the metal plate to which the heating element was attached cracked. This caused it to flex when it touched the coil and it shorted itself out. Checked YouTube for possible causes and fixes. Also how to disassemble the hair dryer to get to the heating element. When we went in and used the counter we found that not only was the heating element damaged but also one of the thermostats as well as the fuse. We ordered this kit because we knew we wouldn't be using all the parts, but it was cheaper than ordering 3 parts separately. Dismantling the dryer proved to be a difficult task. Removing and replacing damaged parts was quick and easy. Knowing about wiring and continuity is helpful if you plan to fix it yourself. 10/10 would order from this seller again! We paid for express shipping and it arrived a day earlier than expected which helped a lot. The new parts are identical to those we replaced. Worth every penny. (Note: I read a comment from someone that the part they ordered was cheap and didn't work once installed. Probably because another part was damaged. Like ours, we needed a few parts to get the dryer working again ...If we just replaced the heating coil, the dryer still wouldn't work.)
