Review on 🚜 Rolly Toys Construction Pedal Tractor: The Ultimate Playtime Machine for Little Builders by Michael Gonzales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic - except for instructions

Our son loves this tractor! He drives lap after lap around the house and practically squeals with joy when he pours out the contents of the shovel. Pedaling power means no batteries and consumes some of its sufficient energy! The (German) quality of technology and materials is excellent. As other reviewers have said, the only downside is that the instructions are far from easy, making it easy to do something irreversible out of order. If you'd like to do something like replace the car's starter motor, then you'll be fine; Otherwise, find someone to put it together for you. I went through the entire assembly process without tightening the bolts or hammering the axle caps. This worked very well and saved a lot of time in the end. Important Tips: 1) The rear axle is delivered assembled. When installing the front axle and trailer axle, *omit one axle cover* until you have installed everything else. Put on the caps last, before the stickers. 2) The piece of plastic that the front axle attaches to *cannot* be installed with the wheels installed, so install it first, then hammer in the axle caps. 3) Cylindrical plastic trailer wheel washers have serrated edges instead of smoother edges (smooth are tools to support axle caps when retracting). made of a short plastic tube and one of 4 plastic discs. 5) When assembling the front axle and trailer axle *leave one axle cover* until you've assembled everything else. Put on the caps last, before the stickers. I know I've said this before, but it's really important! :) By the way, the ad says "Kettler", but if you're looking for a Rolly KID toy tractor, you've come to the right place. (or at least the box we arrived in was branded "Rolly" all over)

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
