Just installed this light on my boat. I thought it would be a little bigger, especially the base. He didn't close the holes that were already there. So I used some white silicone to match the fiberglass ceiling. However, if you are looking for a smaller light fixture with a small base of around 2 inches in diameter. Then this lamp is just right for you. It's very bright, warmer in color but not too warm. I wish it included a 4th night light setting and a reading light. However, I am very happy with this purchase.
