Why oh why did Samsung put a micro USB charging port on the bottom of the Galaxy Tab S? They (usually) make well-designed products like the Google Nexus 10 (which had that connector on the top, just for the record). This placement means you're constantly flexing the power cord when holding it in portrait mode. I ruined the direct cable this way, afraid of damaging the port itself. Here is the answer. The cable is good quality and comes with a loose velcro strap to secure the excess. The 90 degree bend means no burden on the port and a more comfortable position for comfortable rest while reading etc.
