I have used this product to install ceiling fans through a drop ceiling. As long as you have easy access through the ceiling tiles next to the installation location, installation is pretty easy. I saw a video complaining about the mount being wobbly. This was clearly due to the customer not tightening the bolts on the cross members. Place the box over the hole and then snap the nuts in place to secure the bars. Even at high speeds, the fans hardly move. Of course, the three fans I installed cost $110 each, so having a better balanced fan would certainly help.
