. or a MUCH lower price for these clones, I decided to give it a try. I have to say right now I'm very glad I did it. They don't come with instructions like others have said, but if you're even a little mechanically inclined they are very easy to install. On my 2010 Electra Glide Ultra, both the headlight and headlight wired directly to the bike's stock wiring with no problems. The patches weren't too big for the cans on my bike, but you had to make sure the wire on the headlights fit into the back of the cans so they sit flush and the trim ring snaps in properly. slightly different story. The OEM Daymaker is a replacement for the original headlight bracket. Since this light is slightly deeper than the HD light, you will also need an additional bracket for mounting. The bracket I received came with a chrome trim ring and bracket, but as others have said the light sits a little loose in the assembly when using the trim ring that came with the bracket. To fix this, I simply placed a stock Harley trim ring onto the LED lighted bracket and pressed into place. Once you have the new headlight assembly in place, it only takes four T-25 screws to remove the old headlight bracket and install the new one. Note that on the new mounting bracket, the hole you need to screw the trim ring into is NOT threaded and is larger than the original bracket, so you NEED a new screw. I used a #10 x 3/4" stainless steel screw and it seemed to work great to reattach the bezel. Another issue with the mounting bracket is that it looks like it's just cold rolled steel, not galvanized or stainless steel fits a little more than the original light so you can see the bracket a bit. Time will tell if this thing starts to rust or not Create a much brighter and wider beam of light at night. For the price I am very happy with what I got. Can't tell yet how the road test went who is interested in buying these flashlights.
